Context:Surrender locates the viewer in a memory of crisis/
social stand
“FORMS OF ENGAGEMENT” this action reflects den Leit-
faden from the festival, is surrendering a form of social en-
gagement or disengagement?
The white flag is the icon of all the project and means sur-
render.
The main questions are : who is surrendering? why is there a
surrender taking place here ? did you surrender? Could sur-
render be another form of resistance
Motivation: By going public I am interested in discovering
the limits and potentials of artistic action, the role of the art-
ist as an instigator of social change.
